Stock Mazda Miata powertrain, just 1000 pounds lighter.
Based on the Mazda MX-5 or Miata, this model uses all the running gear from the Mazda. The RX-5 features inboard front suspension and a space frame chassis constructed of rounded and square tube. Designed for the road and track, this model uses poly bush fixings for the wishbones and is setup out of the box. This model boasts 6 degrees of caster and coupled with a 2.4 turn lock to lock "quick" steering rack, a very adequate feel on the tarmac.
RX5 140 with Turbo power!
RX-5 250 is a Miata MX-5 single donor based vehicle with a forced induction twist. It utilizes the TD04 Garret turbo from a Subaru Impreza which boosts the engine to approximately 250bhp. In a vehicle weighing just over 1250 lbs, this is mind blowing performance. Designed as a fast road vehicle, this vehicle will excite the driver every time they get behind the wheel. Your standard RX-5 140 can be easily upgraded with our bolt on kit to the RX-5 250.
All components needed for a bolt in Turbo upgrade to a stock Miata 1.8L engine. Includes everything needed including ECU, fueling, intercooler, exhaust and oiling components.
Increased braking capabilities with upgraded Wilwood 4 pot calipers up front, Mintex pads all around.
Increased radiator thickness and upgraded cooling fan to handle the extra heat.
High Revving Honda Power
The RX-5 VTEC is a the latest power plant to find a home in one of our cars. Powered by the Honda K20 from a CIVIC Type R, the K20 A2 engine will give an impressive 230bhp from a 2 litre naturally aspirated engine. Designed to bolt to the standard Mazda Miata gearbox from the NB (using an adapter plate), this vehicle is also based on the RX-5 140. This model utilizes all the donor components in the RX-5 140, except for the engine which comes from the Honda.

Hayabusa Engine Based Track Monster
Designed for the track, this model was first designed in 2008 using CAD simulation features inboard push rod front suspension. Now with a 2022 re-designed complete square tube for the space frame chassis. Based again on the Ford Sierra, this model also uses the parts off the shelf. Powered by the Suzuki Hayabusa Gen 1/ 2 engine, this model is an amazing value race car for the track. These kits are far more complete and do not require a donor other than the engine, engine harness, and ECU.
Many upgrades are available for these models, though the standard equipment list is quite well suited for track use.
Standard options include LSD, fully rose jointed suspension, Compmotive 7" x 13" wheels, 3" FIA certified 4 point harnesses, Wilwood front brakes, upgraded radiator and fan.
Options available include upgraded rear brakes, billet uprights, digital dashes, reverse gear, handbrake.
Options are also available to make the car fully street legal should you desire.
This is almost a complete car, minus the Hayabusa engine / trans and ECU. Build time closer to 100 hours.
